I like this photo a lot. Even though the girl pictured wasn't nearly as serious or intense as she appears in this photo during the morning of our photo shoot, there is a certain gravitas to her expression here.

She might have been talking to one of her brothers when I caught her attention or said something, she looked up, and I snapped the photo. These moments are what it's all about...they are my currency as a photographer.

Maybe I found a little piece of who she is, something that may not be revealed for another decade or two. Or maybe it's here already. In any case, I like the photo.
